Well, I'm back from my blogging hiatus. Lots have happened since my last post. I've been busy applying to Teacher Assistantships and Project Assistantships for next year. Didn't get a TA and I'm still waiting to hear back about the PAs - wish me luck!
Anyway, I've put my bookmaking on hold for a while to concentrate on Audrey's summer wardrobe. So far I've made these two dresses. The first one is made of a cotton lawn, lined in white cotton batiste, and the second I made out of a pair of clam diggers I got in Thailand. They fit funny, but I liked the fabric so much I decided to "recycle" them instead of throwing them out or giving them away (more on recycled clothing later). I'm also waiting on a shipment of some yummy Amy Butler fabrics (LOVE Amy Butler!!). Audrey is going to be one stylin' babe!

How cute! I didn't realize you were also a sewer. I also like to recycle clothes and fabrics to make new things. Good job with these dresses!
